Travel Technology Show - Earls Court

Tuesday 9th February 2010

Travelwhiz, the travel web specialists always keeping pace with what’s new in Travel Technology sent 3 delegates to the Earls Court show this year. Social Networking still seems to be on everyones lips but we can find no business model either with our own clients or from reports obtained outside that can really show any ROI ( most of which is employee time ) for an increase in market share.  There are a few areas where some success has been reported but we remain unconvinced. What was good about the show was the recognition that travel technology has a place in its own right  albeit with a way to go to reach its full potential.  Watch out for “surface technology”!!!
